We are so busy with so many things in life.
Overwhelmed by the circumstances that we find ourselves in.
That we don't even get to enjoy the results of our small wins.
The latest literal storm was an eye opener.
It made us see what's truly important.
For us to appreciate the things we have.
I appreciate you for stepping up during these times.
It made our family so much closer.
And despite this time of tribulation,
We even managed to reach the next pin!
We reached one new mile stone.
Now, let's continue to hold on to each other,
as we aim for our next goal!

The memories made with family is everything.
This gives us hope no matter what life may bring.
Our boys may be branching out to be their own persons.
But they will always have their roots with us, our sons.
This fact is always something we can be proud of.
These boys turning men are products of our love.
In this life full of uncertainty,
It’s the big moments that define us.
How we respond to such circumstances,
Tells us who we are at our core.
However, this core is forever growing.
It evolves as it is fed by small moments in our daily lives.
These split second interactions sends tingles to our brain,
Pulsates our heartbeats to run faster or slower.
And most of my small moments are made up of you.
It’s filled with thoughts of you and our family.
So, no matter what big moments in life might come,
I will face them with conviction, and my core held tight.
